A Star Wars Story poster spotted in theaters

Fans of Star Wars franchise should brace themselves for a whole new excitement. The first teaser poster for A Star Wars Story has just been released, and this spells a buzz as far as the Star Wars world is concerned.

A Twitter user going by the username @LAKingsDru yesterday spotted the poster at a Californian theater. He after that took a shot of it and shared it on his handle. The sign displays Star Wars’ famous logo, stylized yellow fonts against a black background.

A Star Wars Story or directly Solo is set for release next May. The availing of the teaser trailer could mean just one thing, LucasFilm is about to kickstart marketing of the space opera film. Rumors are in fact rife that the company will release Solo’s official trailer this December.

The much-awaited trailer is said to be already cut and is waiting for The Last Jedi so that they may be released concurrently. LucasFilm allegedly believes this simultaneous release will do both films a great deal of good.

Solo will be the second standalone film in the Star Wars franchise. The first was Rogue One which debuted in December 2016. Producers are hoping that the upcoming film won’t go the way of its predecessor. Rogue One accrued extra production cost after several scenes had to be shot and reshot. Phil Lord is steering the production crew as the film’s director.

Solo revolves around a mischievous smuggler named Han Solo. Solo and his Wookiee partner Chewbacca go through a string of adventures including an encounter with Lando Calrissian. Furthermore, the duo even later on joins the Rebellion.

The happenings in Solo also go back many years, it includes specific essential characters and locations from 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope. Solo will, for example, meet up with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Skywalker in the Mos Eisly Cantons.

Fans, for now, can only wait for the upcoming sci-fi’s next year release.
